My dev updates for this week (March 15 - 28, 2026)

2 weeks spent in various tasks: DVT work, p2p, systems, hackathon, movies

My dev updates for this week (March 15 - 28 2026)

Didn't update last week, mostly went by unproductive, but yeah here's my updates for the last two weeks! Was participating in two hackathons, both of which ended last week. One of them was the synthesis.md hackathon. was initially not sure whether I will participate or not, but it seemed pretty cool, so spun up claude code with ofcourse, dangerously-skip-permissions and brainstormed, built an agent DAO platform where the DAOs are governed by AI agents and for every proposal, each DAO has 3 child agents, which for now is static. They get to vote on the proposal, aligning by some rules related to the DAOs in general. If the agents drift, they get slashed and new agents are spawned, with the memory of the predecessor. A Darwinian model of a DAO. Seems pretty cool, so yeah. Results this week! Not too optimistic but let's see. Apart from that, worked on the DVT client Pluto, specifically on some minor tasks (PR #287), and its MEV CLI tests (PR #300). Was mostly getting around the codebase, primarily the p2p section and how it's written, since I have been looking into p2p lately, and studying about it. Haven't gone too deep, had read about the pubsub specs and how it works. Will gradually dive deeper! Came across a new, well not so new ecosystem where me and my team had previously hacked on, in EthIndia 2023. Spoke to people from that community, what their plans are, and the roadmap, found some interesting stuffs to look into, joined their weekly call and discussed about tasks. What else? Yeah, planned on watching cryptography lectures which are currently going on in EPF study group, but did not for now as there are quite a lot of tasks that I need to focus on. Lastly, came across Fenn on X, and the product he is building, Diverg. Its a pretty cool product, its basically automated security scans and on-chain investigations. It's on Solana for now. Spoke to him, and he seems like a solid guy. I am working on that, improving the performance, optimizations and porting the critical parts from Python to Rust. So worked on 2-3 tasks on that as well. And spent a good amount of time reflecting on what are my goals and what I need to do by the time I graduate, been feeling a bit low for a couple of weeks because of the market and the situation but I guess I will get over with, with time. Yeah also "monitored the situation" between the lightclients and milady thing going on in X, read a few chapters of "The Silent Patient", which I had silently dropped after starting a while back. And also watched 3-4 movies, a limited series on Netflix. Just need to start going to the gym regularly haha! That's it for now. Have a great week, byee!
